Laser cutting creates sharp, decorative edges for apparel, including elegant scallop contours. While laser-cut details bring premium aesthetics, improper laser settings may cause fraying, pilling or brittle edges after repeated washing and wear.
Our production team sets laser power and cutting speed according to fabric composition. During sample development, we run washing and abrasion tests on laser-cut parts to verify edge stability. Where necessary, binding or reinforced stitching is added to strengthen cut edges.
We perform full visual inspection on laser-cut components for proto and pre-production samples. Any edge defects must be resolved before bulk release. Our technical team records laser parameters for each fabric style to maintain consistent quality across batches. If your design includes scallops or other laser-cut features, send over your tech pack so we can prepare test samples.
