Key Garment Construction Details Buyers Are Paying More Attention To
02 - Sep - 2026HS coutures

This week we reviewed multiple sample revision sheets from our overseas clients, noticing that buyers are focusing far more on fine garment construction details than before.

Common technical requirements include french seams for lightweight dresses, flat‑felled side seams for workwear, interior hidden sleeve tabs for roll‑up sleeves, back‑stitch reinforcement at all seam ends, and well‑balanced side seams to avoid twisting after wash.

Many brand quality manuals now clearly define seam types, stitch density, fusible interlining weight and hardware tension strength. Poor execution on these small details will cause fit issues, fabric fraying or garment distortion after washing cycles.

For our factory, we treat every tech‑pack note seriously. Our pattern team and sample room will mark every construction revision before sample production to minimize re‑work.

When you prepare your tech‑pack, clearly list your seam, stitch and hardware requirements. Contact us if you need consultation on garment construction for your styles.
